Originally released almost 12 years after the PC Engine’s release, Dead of the Brain 1&2 marks the very last official commercial release for our favorite console. The game collects both installments of the Cyberpunk / Zombie adventure series into a single game.

For those of you who don’t know Dead of the Brain, imagine a game very similar to Snatcher, with less cyberpunk elements, but more zombies and gore in return.

Dead of the Brain remains completely in japanese, but playing it with your smartphone to have the on-screen text translated for you in real-time, easily makes it a quite enjoyable experience and works surprisingly well.

Dead of the Brain is available is very small quantities only as its certainly more of a collector’s title and not considered a must-play on the PC Engine. Our version comes with an additional sticker sheet inside the game’s manual.
